Sage Upgrades
To all current Sage users - An important payroll upgrade will be needed again
this year and there is only a short time to go before upgrades are needed if you
have not already sorted yours out. If you have Sage Payroll and have Sage Update
Cover in place then you will receive your update directly from Sage. If not then
please read on.
To help you with selecting the upgrade you need and to update
you on the legislation reasons for the payroll upgrade. These reasons are also
listed here - Tax Rules - UK April 2001 -
To establish a price for upgrading
your current software to a different Sage product simply follow these guidelines.
If you have a comparable Pegasus product, you
can allow a 30% discount from the cost of the Sage product.
If you
have a Sage product without Sage Cover and you are simply upgrading to a more
expensive piece of Sage software you will pay the difference between your current
software and the one you are upgrading to.
If you
need the latest version of your current Sage package then simply purchase the
Sage Cover for that software and you will get the automatic update to the version.
(If you already have Sage Cover in place you should already be receiving the free
updates).
