To comply with the law the DTI suggests businesses
should keep records on:

    redundancy legislation and provide evidence to
    defend claims made against you.

Performance Management
An up to date, accurate list of actions taken during a disciplinary is vital when
performance managing. Sage 50 HR 2009 allows you to maintain, report on and view
instantly all of this information giving you the confidence to deal with this specific HR
process effectively.
Most companies follow some sort of appraisal procedure. Sage 50 HR 2009 has an
appraisal record for you to update and complete. This allows you to forward plan in
terms of when the next appraisal will take place and also monitor the individual’s
performance through action plans.

Skills and Qualifications
Opportunities arise in businesses where a certain skill or qualification is required.
Through recording this information in Sage 50 HR 2009 you can identify people who
could be considered for specific roles. In addition you can review the skills/
